Case Study

Spiral Gateway is a spin-out from Edinburgh University developing an innovative processing technology capable of adapting itself in real time for the specific task in hand. By replacing a number of application specific functions with a single flexible resource significant cost reductions can be achieved while at the same time improving performance. Our initial focus is the image processing function for cameras embedded in mobile phones and other portable devices. Our technology will enable the cameras embedded in mobile devices to match the performance of current digital still cameras and camcorders and enabling our customers to never miss that unique shot.

Having outgrown our old offices in the University Technology Transfer Centre we needed to find a larger space offering potential for further expansion but with flexible lease terms that could adapt to a number of different scenarios. Our preference was a for a city centre location with good transport links but fitting the constraints of a young companies finances.

Having listened to what we needed, EasyOffices were able to quickly generate a list of four alternatives, each of which fitted our requirements. After viewing the options we were able to discuss terms with each vendor and are pleased with our final selection.
