Business Environment has announced it is to open a new serviced office centre at 107 Cheapside EC2.

It’s the first to open in this prestigious location in the heart of the City and is close to the One New Change shopping mall. Within easy walking distance of both Bank and St Paul’s tube stations, this new business centre is in an ideal location for a number of transport links.

Cheapside was described in The Charles Dickens Dictionary of London: “Cheapside remains now what it was five centuries ago, the greatest thoroughfare in the City of London. Other localities have had their day, have risen, become fashionable, and have sunk into obscurity and neglect, but Cheapside has maintained its place, and may boast of being the busiest thoroughfare in the world”.

The addition of The City’s largest shopping centre at One New Change continues this historic reputation as the centre of trade in The City. With a wide selection of shops and a number of restaurants by Gordon Ramsey and Jamie Oliver, Cheapside is now a major shopping and business hub once again.

David Saul, Managing Director at Business Environment, commented: “We are delighted to be announcing our ambitious plans for this new business centre in the heart of The City of London. This is the first on Cheapside and really benefits from the recent developments at One New Change that have enhanced local shopping and eating in this part of the City. Our centre will feature a number of innovations and an exciting design that has a stunning business lounge and a full height glass atrium”.

Hall Kemp acted on behalf of Business Environment during the acquisition. Margolis have been asked to manage the design and development of the interior space.

Work to develop this prestigious location will be completed for a spring 2011 launch and enquiries are invited for viewings to commence very soon.
