As the debate rages around where more capacity can be added to London’s Airports Easy Offices have decided to take an in depth look at the Offices that surround the 3 main transport hubs in the Capital. The first question our sales staff normally ask is, “where would you like to be?” Location is almost always the most important factor for Businesses and the variety and number that need close or fast access to a specific Airport is vast so we thought we would simplify the process for you.
The main transport hub for the Capital and still the source of much debate regarding expansion, Heathrow welcomed over 69 million passengers in 2011. Of those passengers 7% were flying within the UK, 41% were short haul international travel and 52% were long haul flying further afield. Heathrow accomodates over 90 different Airlines flying to over 170 Global destinations.
Bordered by Staines upon Thames, Greenford, Hounslow and West Drayton amongst others there are over 20 Serviced Offices within a 5 mile radius. Situated to the West of Central London the underground will take you into Central London via the Piccadilly line. The close proximity to the M25 also allows easy access to the M4 corridor including the numerous Technology Parks around Reading.

The fourth busiest airport in 2011 after Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester, Stansted is the hub for most of Europe’s budget carriers and is the main hub for Ryanair. Situated in Essex with good access to the M25 and with rail access to Liverpool Street Mainline Station in London the Airport also offers excellent rail routes into the Midlands.
Although not offering nearly as many options in the way of Offices as Heathrow, we found that there were three offices situated within 2 miles of the Airport itself offering easy and quick access to this transport hub.

London City Aiport
Much smaller in size and only 6 miles from the City of London and even closer still to Canary Wharf London City Airport is situated in a former Docklands site within the London Borough of Newham. Developed in the late 1980’s by Mowlem the airport welcomed nearly 3 million passengers in 2011.
Popular with Business travellers for obvious reasons we found over 30 Offices within 5 miles. With plans to increase capacity regardless of the expansion plans elsewhere London City Airport is set to be a continued success for Business Travellers and London residents alike.
