A large deal that would have brought a substantial boost to City office space letting figures for Q.3 has fallen through.

Pharmaceutical firm AstraZeneca last week pulled out of a deal to take in excess of 60, 000 sq ft at the new Broadgate Tower building.  Reports of the promising deal first emerged back in April but the firm pulled out of the signing last minute and has confirmed that it is looking at other options to move from its current West End premises.

Meanwhile Broadgate Tower has attracted another giant client as serviced office operator Regus Plc has taken space on the 12th floor of the 540 ft structure, as reported yesterday.  CLICK HERE to read more about the serviced office space at Broadgate Tower.
