Independent serviced office operator GH Space has recently launched a brand new business centre in the heart of Soho. Located on Carlisle Street, just off Soho Square, offices offer a state-of-the-art working environment. Since opening for business back in the summer, the Carlisle Street offices have sold fast, really fast! I caught up with GH Space centre manager Jenny D’arcy in the hopes of discovering the secret behind why the new offices are proving so appealing to Soho businesses.

Easy Offices: When did the centre officially open for business and did you do anything special to celebrate?

Jenny: We opened for business in July this year with our first Residents moving in shortly afterwards. As we are still renovating our communal Clubhouse area we are looking forward to throwing a proper welcome party once it is finished.

Easy Offices: There is a lot of serviced office competition in the Soho area, why did you decide to open here?

Jenny: Soho is such a vibrant area and although there are other serviced office companies we feel our unique approach, stylish furnishings and unbeatable connectivity make for a more personalised experience that clients in Soho love.

Easy Offices: What do you think places your centre apart from your competition?

Jenny: What separates us from the competition is our one fee approach. Our Residents don’t pay extra for 1Gbit/s internet or utilities and our internet is much faster and more reliable than other serviced offices.

Easy Offices: Have you signed up many clients so far and what type of companies are you mainly attracting?

Jenny: We are nearly at capacity but do have a couple of rooms that are still available to view. The new centre in Soho is positioned in the heart of the media community and we have mainly been attracting companies involved in television, production or other media industries. We think this is due to our modern yet sympathetic renovation of the building and our super fast internet connection as well as our central yet quiet location.

Easy Offices: Are you currently offering any special promotions to clients?

Jenny: We are still offering some introductory pricing on our remaining rooms, but for a limited time only!

The GH Space team are still busy putting the final touches to the new Clubhouse area which will shortly be open for the daily use of residents, as well as external clients. The stylish Clubhouse will have a fully licensed bar and is aimed at providing a comfortable working and meeting place for entrepreneurs. GH Space will be running a series of events at the Clubhouse during evenings as well as offering it out for hire.

  1. I think businesses that want to be located in Soho will be looking for something a bit more unique than what some of these business centres usually offer. These managers sound like they’ve nailed it by offering space which is a bit different to the norm.
