The event which will be hosted by TV presenter Arti Halai, takes place on 2nd October 2009 at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham and is one the most prestigious Midlands based women’s awards events on the annual calendar.  Around 800 entrepreneurial women from the region are expected to attend this year.

The luncheon is organised by Vitalise, a national charity that provides respite care for visually impaired and disabled people and their carers.  Vitalise has a particular focus on organising mainstream holidays for disabled people ranging from the UK to Japan and beyond.  Over the years this lunch has raised over £470,000 and all proceeds are donated to Vitalise’s Midlands Centre.
