Brighton is a colourful, exciting city full of life, love and personality. Anyone doing business here will most certainly be spoilt for choice when it comes to enjoying exceptional food, as this city has a huge amount of fantastic eateries for all manner of discerning diner.

A stunning seaside location, and roughly an hour on the train from London, it’s no wonder so many city workers arrange meetings and work trips here. Whether you’re planning on giving your team a break from your serviced office for a bit of fresh air and a stroll on the sand for a treat, or you’re meeting a new client for sales talk by the sea, you’ll find plenty of great venues to choose from here.

The Regular

Sometimes your budget or timeframe means you need to know exactly what you’re getting, which is why high street restaurant chains can be exceptionally useful sometimes.

For a convenient selection of fresh refreshing food, head to YO! Sushi and encourage your staff to grab something colourful from the revolving conveyor belt as you all kick back and relax before the next project deadline looms. For a healthy smoothie or a calorie filled milkshake, pay a visit to Shakeaway, particularly apt if you think your client could benefit from a sugar high and an element of fun during your meeting. To grab a tasty hot toasty and a tongue twisting hot beverage, aim for Starbucks, the chain everyone recognises. And for super cheap meals in a very relaxed atmosphere J D Wetherspoons is a great option for staff parties, however it may not be suited to office meetings.

The Unique

If you’ve been looking for individual, quirky eateries to show your clients, Brighton is the city to visit as it is famous for being one of the most diverse cities in the country and its restaurants certainly reflect that.

Carlito Burrito is a fantastic Mexican eatery and you won’t find a better Mexican spice mix anywhere else. The interior is bright, colourful and exciting and so is the food. This is an ideal client meeting venue. For healthy treats in a true organic emporium, take your staff or clients to Bill’s – exceptional food in chic, trendy, warehouse type surroundings.

And if you think your clients might like to try some contemporary street food style Indian dishes, head to The Chilli Pickle – particularly great if you want to encourage a social atmosphere as a lot of the dishes are designed for sharing. Other unique eateries and bars worth considering are: The Dover Castle, La Choza, Pizza Face and Merkaba.

The Exquisite

Sometimes your staff deserves the best, and your colleagues and clients expect the best – luckily Brighton has a great range of exquisite eateries to suit absolutely everyone and anyone.

Terre A Terre serves vegetarian food that could be described as individual works of art – bring a client here who appreciates stunning dishes created with a lot of thought. To treat clients to sumptuous British food, look no further than The Sussex Yeoman, the perfect eatery for international client meetings where you want fine British classics served to you in a warm, atmospheric setting. For an eatery that seems to have been specifically designed for a business meeting (but with bundles of warmth and relaxed atmosphere) visit Sam’s Of Brighton and feast on bistro style treats.
