There are many buildings in London which offer Serviced Office accommodation of varying shapes and sizes, this week we are asking, which are the top 10 tallest buildings offering serviced offices in London? With great views, noted prominence on the London Skyline and of course the recognition factor, below are (possibly) the top 10 tallest buildings in London offering serviced office accommodation. If you think there are taller buildings than these in London with serviced offices, or think you have one of the tallest, then don’t be shy, let us know, comments are very welcome!
ONE Number one has to be serviced office operator Abbey, towering over the rest of London, (and indeed the UK!) high up on the 37th Floor of One Canada Square! Measuring in at an impressive 243.8 metres, and 50 storeys high, this is not only London’s tallest building but the largest in Britain.
TWO Just missing out on the title, the largest serviced office operator in the UK, Regus Plc, can also be found at One Canada Square, slightly lower down on the 29th Floor but still offering breathtaking views over London and genuinely top of the range serviced office accommodation.
THREE Regus also must have a shout at the top five with their offices at Tower 42 on Old Broad Street. The tallest building in the City of London this 42 storey’s giant measures an impressive 183 metres.
FOUR Another property that immediately springs to mind for its imposing height is The Gherkin. At 180 metres, or 40 storeys, this architectural wonder casts an unmistakable silhouette on London’s skyline. Here Abbey Business Centres proudly offer some sought-after serviced office space on the 28th floor.
FIVE Targetspace have to be in the top ten with their offices at the 32 storey Centre Point building on New Oxford Street. In the heart of the West End, and offering a prime business address, the building totals 117.3 metres.
SIX Can we include Wembley in this London count? Why not as the striking Wembley Point building on Harrow Road in the heart of the city is surely one of the highest for serviced office space, towering into the North-West London Skyline at 21 storeys. Targetspace can again be found here up on the 20th and 21st floors offering views over the neighbouring Wembley Stadium.
SEVEN Back to central London now and Regus come in to the list again, this time at City Point on Ropemaker Street with a towering glass-fronted building sitting in the heart of the financial district.
EIGHT City Tower on Basinghall Street is next where another of the UK’s largest serviced office competitors MWB spread their presence over the 9th, 11th and 20th floors.
NINE Regus have yet another contender located on Wood Street in the City where they offer serviced offices from the 10th up to the 15th floor in another glass-fronted building designed by the noted architect Sir Richard Rogers.
TEN Always worth a mention, could the Lloyds Building be a contender for the top ten? Another Richard Rogers creation, the building measures 88 metres to the roof, with 14 floors, or 95.10 metres if you include the construction cranes on the top. But Regus themselves are only located down on the 4th floor of this iconic building which begs the question, should the rankings be based on the overall height of the building or the company’s position within the building? Either way this stunning business centres offers some truly unique serviced office space and makes our number ten (even if MWB at Marble Arch Tower on Bryanston Street May feel a little robbed?)
