Newly Expanded Serviced Offices in the City of London Now Half Let

Reading Time: 2 minutes

A surge in demand for serviced office space in the City of London has seen Avanta Managed Offices pre-let more than 50% of available space in its newly-expanded business centre at Devonshire Square, EC2.

The centre, which has expanded with the addition of another floor in the building, has also witnessed a 29% increase in workspace enquiries since the beginning of the year highlighting a resurgence in demand for high-quality managed office space in the City.

“With almost 700 enquires for workspace in the City since mid-January we are in a buoyant mood,“ comments David Alberto, Avanta’s managing director. “New serviced office space traditionally takes 12-24 months to fill up, so pre-letting half of the new floor prior to opening is a good indication of a positive shift in demand.“Ă‚ĹĄ

Devonshire Square, close to Liverpool Street Station, opened for business on April 1st after an extensive interior fit out and has already had six new businesses sign up to take space, which is positive news for the job market in the City. The centre is Avanta’s second City location and, despite only opening in January 2009, its superb location and stylish interior enabled it to beat the industry benchmark by reaching 80% occupancy within a few months of opening.

The centre provides high-quality serviced offices, meeting, training and conference rooms as well as virtual office facilities. The building has a fabulous selection of local amenities, including bars and restaurants as well as retail outlets.
