on the Increase<\/a>&#8221;\u00a0 the leading commercial property investment and development\u00a0company have had their plans approved\u00a0by The City of London Corporation to construct the 300,000 sq ft development in the popular St Mary Axe area.\u00a0 The building is\u00a0to be situated at\u00a060-70 St\u00a0Mary Axe, adding to the eastern cluster of offices on the Square Mile.\u00a0 However the scheme remains subject to funding as London city schemes remain risky amidst a struggling office market.<\/p>\n<p>If constructed, the new building, nicknamed the &#8220;Tin of Ham&#8221;, because of its unusual semi-elliptical design, will add substantially to current St Mary Axe office space, with 22 floors of offices and ground floor shops to be constructed between the iconic &#8220;<a title=\"Serviced Offices at The Gherkin\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/serviced-offices\/uk\/London\/London-City\/St-Mary-Axe\/St-Mary-Axe\/3765\" target=\"_blank\">Gherkin<\/a>&#8221; and Heron Tower.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This will be the second St Mary Axe property associated with TargetFollow as affiliated serviced office company TargetSpace currently operates from <a title=\"St Mary Axe Office Space\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/serviced-offices\/uk\/London\/London-City\/St-Mary-Axe\/St-Mary-Axe\/3816\" target=\"_blank\">St Mary Axe<\/a> at an impressive glass-fronted
