The area of Speke<\/a>, home to Liverpool John Lennon Airport, is to be the new address of 200,000 sq ft of Commercial Office Space<\/a>.\u00a0 Property First Asset Management <\/a>have proposed a 3.9 acre development to be built in the business district bringing a substantial addition to the Liverpool International Business Park<\/a> area.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Located a little under 8\u00a0miles to the south east of Liverpool city centre<\/a> and to the west of the town of Widnes<\/a>, Speke is perhaps best known for the famous Mersey Wave.\u00a0 The structure, which measures 200 ft long and 100 ft high, gives an illuminated welcome to visitors arriving into the city from the East and, being the equivalent to seven double-decker buses in length and 30ft taller than the Angel of the North, the imposing figure is visible for up to a mile from Speke Boulevard.\u00a0 With ideal communication links, being situated next to the airport, a few miles from Liverpool’s port and within close proximity of motorway connections, Speke became a popular area for large businesses and industry in the 1970s and has seen a number of recent developments including the construction of a multi-million pound Morrisons Superstore.<\/p>\n

With\u00a0construction scheduled for September this year the site will be offering various configurations of Managed Office Space<\/a> opportunities\u00a0from upwards of 500 sq ft.\u00a0 The new development will also bring with it extensive conferencing facilities, a gym and a restaurant and give a substantial boost to Liverpool’s current Conventional<\/a> and Serviced Office<\/a> properties.<\/p>\n
