The Regular<\/strong><\/p>\n

When you’re planning a trip on a shoestring, your best options for accommodation are budget hotels. They are cheap, good quality, have excellent room availability, and tend to be in some of the best city locations.<\/p>\n

The three main budget chain hotels in Glasgow are The Ibis<\/a>, Travelodge<\/a> and Premier Inn<\/a>. All three offer clean, chic, modern rooms with basic amenities, breakfast options and a good choice of location. The Ibis has two locations in Glasgow, one of which is situated close to the train station, which is a good choice if that’s how you’re travelling into the city. Travelodge has six locations in Glasgow with one being central – excellent if you want to be near everything – and another being at the airport – useful if you need a stopover between flights. Premier Inn has by far the best selection of locations with no less than 21 hotels in Glasgow.<\/p>\n

The Unique<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you’re in the mood for a stay with a bit of personality, or a sleek boutique hotel that stands out from the rest, Glasgow has some really fabulous options for you to choose from.<\/p>\n

The Cathedral House Hotel<\/a> is a truly lovely example of a simple, classic and comfortable hotel done really well. With a pretty incredible external image, it has real turrets, and a selection of rooms that have gorgeous polished wooden floors and layouts that are both delicate and classic in design, this is a true getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, despite the fact it’s only five minutes away from one of the busiest parts of the city – the Merchant City area.<\/p>\n

For a Feng Shui feel and some pretty off the wall furniture, book yourself into citizenM<\/a> and enjoy staying in what is probably Glasgow’s trendiest hotel. And for real simplicity, relaxation and comfort, book into The Grasshopper Hotel<\/a> where less actually is<\/em> more, and the room layout and design evokes a real sense of calm.<\/p>\n

When 5* is an option for your business trip, you’ve got a pretty fine selection of luxury hotels to choose from in Glasgow.<\/p>\n

For modern luxury opt for The Radisson Blu<\/a>, Carlton George Hotel<\/a>, Blythswood Square<\/a> or Hotel Du Vin<\/a> – luxury chain hotels that offer high spec modern rooms, exceptional customer service and a good selection of room and suite choices depending on your budget.
