Charwell House Business Centre<\/a> in Alton has picked up a rather unusual award this month for the worst car parking bay in the UK!\u00a0 <\/span>The car parking space was nominated by a Jamie Dickenson during a nationwide search by Insurance company Aviva to find particularly bad places in Britain to park.\u00a0 <\/span>The bay was declared the worst space because it is boxed in on all sides!\u00a0 <\/span>According to Charwell House’s latest press release, the bay is intended for use by workers who will not be leaving the grounds until after 6pm, although they did admit that the signage regarding this was inadequate.\u00a0 <\/span>Since being given the award members of staff at Charwell House have erected a plaque by the bay which reads “2009 Worst Space but Best Place – 6pm+ only – thanks to Jamie Dickenson“.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
