{"id":4132,"date":"2010-09-21T08:30:34","date_gmt":"2010-09-21T07:30:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.easyoffices.com\/?p=4132"},"modified":"2010-09-21T08:30:34","modified_gmt":"2010-09-21T07:30:34","slug":"serviced-office-survey-reveals-training-boom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/blog\/business-advice-and-news\/serviced-office-survey-reveals-training-boom","title":{"rendered":"Serviced Office Survey Reveals Training Boom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A recent survey of clients at Avanta&#8217;s 19 UK <a title=\"Serviced Offices\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">serviced office<\/a> space centres, including London business centres, reveals just how the global economy is affecting various industry sectors.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The recession is not just affecting how people use their office space, but it&#8217;s having a dramatic effect on how and where management training is taking place,&#8220; states Avanta&#8217; managing director, David Alberto. &#8220;s a result, businesses involved in training now make up the largest single group within our client base, accounting for more than 18% of the total.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>The Avanta client survey also reveals that clients in the recruitment industry have grown from 7% to 8% during the past six months, while banking &amp; finance clients remain constant at 10% as do those in the technology sector, at 11%. However, the recession is having an adverse effect on media clients, down from 12% to 8%; property &amp; construction down from 7% to 6%; marketing down from 5% to 4% and those in the public sector down from 3% to 2%.<\/p>\n<p>The company, has witnessed the number of training organisations relocating to its centres more than quadruple from just 3% to 18% in the past 18 months. In addition, the company has also witnessed substantial numbers of organisations from within the retail, consultancy and public sectors increasingly using its training and meeting facilities on a pay-as-you-go basis.<\/p>\n<p>Avanta provides modern, roomy and light training, conference and meeting rooms at 19 UK locations, including 14 <a title=\"London Serviced Offices\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/Serviced-Offices\/uk\/London\/London-West-End\" target=\"_blank\">London business centres <\/a>as well as centres in <a title=\"Harrow Serviced Offices\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/Serviced-Offices\/uk\/Harrow\" target=\"_blank\">Harrow<\/a>, <a title=\"Heathrow Serviced Offices\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/Serviced-Offices\/uk\/Heathrow\" target=\"_blank\">Heathrow<\/a>, <a title=\"Reading Serviced Offices\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/Serviced-Offices\/uk\/Reading\" target=\"_blank\">Reading<\/a>, <a title=\"Manchester Serviced Offices\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/Serviced-Offices\/uk\/Manchester\" target=\"_blank\">Manchester<\/a> and <a title=\"Edinburgh Serviced Offices\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/Serviced-Offices\/uk\/Edinburgh\" target=\"_blank\">Edinburgh<\/a>.
