{"id":4800,"date":"2011-03-23T10:41:08","date_gmt":"2011-03-23T09:41:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.easyoffices.com\/?p=4800"},"modified":"2011-03-23T10:41:08","modified_gmt":"2011-03-23T09:41:08","slug":"avanta-hosts-olympic-event-raising-more-money-for-sparks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/blog\/business-advice-and-news\/avanta-hosts-olympic-event-raising-more-money-for-sparks","title":{"rendered":"Avanta Hosts Olympic Event Raising More Money for Sparks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A charity dinner and auction in aid of<a title=\"Sparks Childrens Charity\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sparks.org.uk\/netcommunity\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Sparks<\/a>, sponsored by <a title=\"Serviced Offices\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">serviced office <\/a>operator, Avanta, has raised more than &#126;6,600 for the childrens medical research charity.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by Olympic rowing legend, Sir Matthew Pinsent CBE, the event, which took place at Vanilla, the stylish <a title=\"Serviced Offices West End\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/serviced-offices\/uk\/london\/london-west-end\" target=\"_blank\">West End<\/a> bar and restaurant in Great Titchfield Street in the first week of March, saw 70 guests indulge in a fantastic three course meal in a convivial and fun atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>Following dinner, Stuart Storey one of the most recognisable voices on television sport conducted a Q&amp;A session with Sir Matthew and then acted as auctioneer for a range of special sports-themed auction items.
