{"id":593,"date":"2008-10-10T15:29:49","date_gmt":"2008-10-10T14:29:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.easyoffices.com\/?p=593"},"modified":"2008-10-10T15:29:49","modified_gmt":"2008-10-10T14:29:49","slug":"serviced-office-company-evans-easyspace-reveals-independent-sme-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/blog\/work-environment\/serviced-office-company-evans-easyspace-reveals-independent-sme-survey","title":{"rendered":"Serviced Office Company Evans Easyspace Reveals Independent SME Survey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: \"><a title=\"Link to Serviced Office Search\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Serviced Office<\/a> company Evans Easyspace is the<strong> <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-family: \">UK&#8217;s leading provider of flexible office and workshop space for small and growing businesses.\u00a0 The\u00a0firm&#8217;s current portfolio entails over 50 business centres open, and under construction, throughout the UK.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: \"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The company have this week revealed to <a title=\"Easy Offices Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Easy Offices<\/a>\u00a0the results of an independent survey which explored the attitudes of SMEs towards the current UK downturn.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: \"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The survey, which was undertaken on-line by independent web survey company, <a title=\"Survey Monkey Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">SurveyMonkey.com<\/a>, approached around 600 companies to gauge their views on the current downturn.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>Of the 5.75% response rate results saw an overwhelming number of 84% of businesses believing that the UK is indeed heading for a recession.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>However, despite this majority belief Evans Easyspace reported that the survey also showed positive attitudes of SMEs towards the downturn, stating that:\u00a0&#8220;The significant majority of respondents expect to increase turnover, take on more staff and rate their prospects of business success as good over the next twelve months&#8220;.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>Results also revealed that a whopping 91% of organisations questions rated their company&#8217;s business prospects over the next 12 months as &#8220;good&#8220; or &#8220;no change&#8220;.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: \"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In the report Evans Easyspace MD Tom Stokes drew on the results as\u00a0suggesting a positive and optimistic outlook from SMEs during the UKs financial crunch.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>Reports even suggested that, despite the uncertain financial climate, Evans Easyspace had seen an increase in SME office space enquiries with Mr Stokes commenting &#8220;We are developing over 300,000 sq ft of office space this year to meet this increasing appetite in the market for workspace.&#8220;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: \"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">For further insight into the current status of the serviced office industry amidst the downturn please see our recent article &#8220;<a title=\"Link to related article\" href=\"http:\/\/www.easyoffices.com\/blog\/index.php\/serviced-office-industry-success-regus-%e2%80%9cdefies-downturn%e2%80%9d-and-avanta-office-enquiries-up\/505\/\" target=\"_blank\">Serviced Office Industry Success: Regus Defies Downturn and Avanta Office Enquiries Up<\/a>&#8220; <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Serviced Office company Evans Easyspace is the UK&#8217;s leading provider of flexible office and workshop space for small and growing businesses.\u00a0 The\u00a0firm&#8217;s current portfolio entails over 50 business centres open, and under construction, throughout the UK.
