Young entrepreneurs are being encouraged to make their business dreams reality with the help of a national start-up loans fund.<\/p>\n
The scheme is supported by Bizspace, one of the UK’s leading national providers of flexible business accommodation, and the company is reminding budding business people to stake their claim.<\/p>\n
This year the fund has been expanded to a wider age group – now any aged 18 to 30 is eligible for a loan. The pot itself has also been increased from ~82million to ~112million.<\/p>\n
“At Bizspace we are passionate about helping new businesses to get off the ground and flourish,“ sales and marketing director Emma Long said.<\/p>\n
“So far the fund has only lent out ~1.5million, so there is massive scope for anyone with a new business idea to access the backing they need. The aim of the Start-up Loans Company, which is chaired by ‘dragon’ James Caan, is to be lending to 100 new businesses per week.<\/p>\n
“Bizspace has more than 110 business accommodation sites across England and Scotland and we have special offers in place for start-ups to help them work their way up the ladder. This is the second year we have been working with the Start-up Loans Company and are doing what we can to raise awareness to business people of the future.“<\/p>\n
A special offer from Bizspace is also featured in the new StartUp Kit from Enterprise Nation. The kit provides information and tips on starting a new business; success stories of people who have chosen to become their own boss, and more than ~500 worth of offers to help businesses bring down their start-up costs. The kit costs ~10, or ~5 for the downloadable ebook. Bizspace is offering new customers one month’s free virtual office or one month free in any of its spaces, dependant on a six month agreement being signed.<\/p>\n
