Orega Closes Its Largest Serviced Office Deal to Date at Staines

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Corporate serviced office provider Orega has struck its largest deal to date at its business centre in Staines, Middlesex.

UK energy company Centrica has signed for over 100 workstations at Ash House in the town centre, enabling it to combine different elements of its project team under one roof, making communication far easier.

The Staines business centre was Orega’s first and has been operating since 2000. Centrica complements its growing list of corporate clients, many of whom have made increasingly significant commitments to Orega over the past 12 months. Orega’s flavour of flexible office outsourcing solutions has seen the business go from strength to strength with occupancy levels among its UK-wide locations rising to their highest levels since inception.

Zach Douglas, joint managing director of Orega, says: “A big draw for Centrica was our ability to customise the business centre space to suit their very exacting requirements within a short timeframe. The building had to be adapted to meet their complex IT demands, which included installing connections to Centrica’s main server in Windsor to enable the team to work remotely. This effectively involved a completely new fit-out, with the contractors working nights and weekends to enable the project team to move in at the earliest possible time.“

The business centre, which totals 32,000 sq ft, is located on Fairfield Avenue at the eastern end of the town, close to the mainline railway station and just 12 minutes’ drive from Heathrow. Serviced offices are available for periods from three months to three years, and a full menu of services is offered, ranging from car parking and reception to conferencing, translation and gourmet catering.
