Commercial Agents Moving into Serviced Office Sector Through Tavistock Consultants

Commercial Agents are continuing to struggle during the recession with Drivers Jonas this month announcing that it will be making a further 30 redundancies shortly.

Drivers Jonas is by no means the only agent to make cut backs recently with many leading firms including King Sturge, Jones Lang Lasalle, CB Richard Ellis and DTZ all being forced to reduce staff numbers since the credit crunch began to bite last summer.

Meanwhile, Tavistock Consultants, the only recruitment agency dedicated to the Serviced Office industry, are reporting an increased number of Commercial Agents registering their CV’s and accepting positions within the industry.  Tavistock Managing Director, Carla Ferrari told me; “We are interviewing more and more Commercial Agents now that so many redundancies are being made in the conventional property sector.  This is all very positive for the Serviced Office Industry as the quality and experience of Commercial Agents is invaluable for any provider looking to employ someone with not only property knowledge but in many cases, an excellent network of contacts too!  All CV’s are more than welcome!“

Tavistock Consultants are currently recruiting exclusively for the UK’s largest Serviced Office operator Regus Plc which is retaining strong financials despite the recession, having recently reported a 25% profit increase before tax for 2008.
