Serviced Office provider Regus have announced a major expansion at one of their most popular and sought after buildings in the heart of Mayfair! The company are adding space to their Berkeley Square property in an exciting move which will accommodate offices for 600 clients.
Incorporated within the plans is the introduction of a new business lounge offering clients state-of-the-art facilities with a host of little extras including complimentary refreshments and print from blackberry capabilities.
This move for expansion in Mayfair signifies yet more optimism for the occupancy levels of the West End, which, despite the downturn continue to show resilience against the credit crunch. There is also proof of an ongoing willingness of companies to pay extra for this prestigious business address. Property Magazine Estates Gazette this week reported that rental levels appear to be being maintained with Bain Capital paying ~120 per sq ft at W1 and others paying ~70 per sq ft at Long Acre, W2.
Regus are looking at a reopening date for the extended offices of February 2009 and we suspect that given the location of this fantastic property they will have no problems finding occupants for their new-found space!
