Office description
We bought a site right at the gateway to the 67-acre King’s Cross Central development and have refurbished the existing Stanley building which is a small listed building (last example of one of the first examples of social housing in London) and then wrapped a new building around it to create a new 30,000 sq. ft. office building. Studio Downie Architects worked with Wells Mackereth to create space for a range of office sizes, meeting rooms, event spaces and co-working spaces. We also went Green again with a green roof terrace, rainwater harvesting, PV panels, CHP heating and arnproper lighting strategy (sensors, low energy etc.).
