The Reno Downtown Center is located in the heart of Reno's vibrant downtown and offers spectacular eighth-floor views that include the Sierras. Rail and road links and its geographic position also makes it useful for the warehousing and distribution of goods to western states. Reno is a tourism industry center. Summer visitors go to Lake Tahoe, the Truckee River and Pyramid Lake. In the winter, they are drawn to mountains for skiing. The city has a growing economy and new home construction as a result. The Downtown Center is close to the Truckee Riverwalk and a variety of restaurants, and shops.
