EC3 Serviced Offices: MWB to Open New Serviced Offices in EC3

EC3 Serviced Offices: The UK’s 2nd largest serviced office operator MWB has revealed plans to launch over 32,000 sq ft of serviced office space in EC3 later this year.

Expected to open during September, the new serviced office space will offer companies a prime business address, located in the sought after EC3 postcode area of London City.  Offices will be housed within the 133 Houndsditch building from where clients are placed within a stone’s throw of Aldgate underground and easy walking distance of both Fenchurch Street and Liverpool Street Stations.

MWB is thought to have signed an 11 year managment agreement at the newly acquired property which is now facing a full refurbishment at an estimated cost of up to ÂŁ3m.  The building will add to MWB’s current London City portfolio where the company already has several serviced office business centres in locations including Cannon Street, Fleet Street and City Tower on Basinghall Street.

Earlier this month MWB Group Holdings released its full year annual results which reported that revenue for the year for the Serviced Office element of the group had grown by 18% to £119m over the previous 12 months.  Shortly after, the company announced that it has agreed an extension of its £348m loan with Bank of Scotland and RBS which will now last until December 2011.
