Orega Expands at Birmingham Following Outstanding Success

Orega is to extend its serviced office offering in Birmingham City Centre following the outstanding success of its Colmore Plaza business centre.

The flexible office operator launched 10,000 sq ft of serviced offices at the landmark building during summer 2009. Now, fully-occupied, Orega and has agreed an extension with building owner The Carlyle Group after seeing continued demand for office space at the property.

Orega has taken on an additional 7,500 sq ft of space. The offices are on the mezzanine level of the building and will offer 113 workstations suitable for two-person offices all the way up to 58 person serviced office requirements.

Completion on the new space is expected for the end of September, just in time to welcome the first new client, IT recruitment company Applause IT Limited, which has already signed up to take 8 work stations.

Client interest in the building continues to be strong and Orega sales and business centre manager in Birmingham, Caron Salter-Hill, has commented that, in addition to signing Applause IT, Orega has received “serious interest in a further significant amount of space” at the property.

Offering a premier office location, Colmore Plaza is located in the heart of Birmingham’s business district. The serviced offices offer a reception area and meeting rooms on the ground floor. Director of The Carlyle Group, Mark Harris commented that the serviced offices align perfectly with The Carlyle Group’s “ethos of providing a truly outstanding and varied offer.”
