Business Environment Ditches Doughnuts for Jubilee

Serviced office operator Business Environment is well-known for offering a range of little extras within its all-inclusive pricing structure and the company’s “friday doughnuts” have been enjoyed by clients across the country for a decade.

However, in light of the recent Jubilee celebrations the team at Business Environment decided to make a change to their weekly treats; ditching the American doughnut to offer British Cakes to clients instead.

On 1st June the Friday doughnut trolley was transformed into a red, white and blue carriage and traditional British cakes offered in all offices.

In order to compile a definitive list of British cakes, the operator conducted a poll across its business centres, asking some 360 business professionals and staff to list their favourites. The top ten cakes included well-loved classics like Bakewell Tarts, Jaffa Cake, Chelsea Bun and, of course, the Victoria Sponge.

Managing Director of Business Environment, David Saul, commented: “Our weekly Friday sugar fix just got very traditional. It’s out with the famous doughnuts for the first time in ten years. But don’t worry, they will be back”.
