National facilities and property management company, Fasset Ltd, will be supporting a kind of mini apprentice competition held at a school local to one of its serviced office properties in Hersham.

Rydens Enterprise School and Sixth Form College is near to the Fasset-managed Hersham Place Technology Park in Surrey. Each year the school hosts an Apprentice Competition where students compete to win a place in the grand final by completing business challenges set by the local business community.

In order to survive elimination rounds, students must show entrepreneurial skills and be articulate, committed and confident when facing the business challenges.

The first round of the competition will be held at the Fasset business park, hosted by Fasset Account Manager Mitch Avis, who will also be sitting on the final judging panel.

Mitch commented: “Fasset has supported this for the last 3 years and is delighted to again be part of this exciting business challenge. The standards last year were immensely high and the students really put their heart and soul into the competition. Shaping the future of business in the region is key to its sustainability and long term growth. To achieve this we need to support and nurture young talent and this is a great opportunity to see those rising stars in action.”
