Take-Up Explosion at Orega Serviced Offices in Bristol

A recent office take-up surge has been underway at Orega’s serviced offices in Bristol where ten new clients have signed up for space within the last three months.

The business centre, located on Victoria Street in the heart of Bristol’s commercial district, is now boasting 90% occupancy following the new signings. Since December Orega has sold 126 workstations over the ground and first floor of the business centre, that’s a total of 16,000 sq ft.

New clients represent a range of industries from technology to traditional professional services. The largest deal was done when the UK’s leading search engine optimisation company, Smart Traffic, signed up for a substantial 40 workstations over the ground floor of the building. The company is said to have been attracted to the property for a number of reasons, amongst them a Grade II listed wall, believed to date from Victorian times, which features in their new office space.

Andy Birt, Smart Traffic co-founder and CEO said: “This new space is not only larger but definitely has the ‘wow’ factor, with great period features and an environment that will hopefully encourage much greater productivity in our expert team. We hope this move will allow us to continue to grow and build our team, and to continue to provide quality SEO services to our varied client base.”

Other large deals include the signing of online business Mathletics, a web-based learning company, which took 24 workstations at the business centre. Target Group, one of the UK’s leading providers of software and outsourcing solutions to financial services companies, will also be moving in during April after agreeing to take 20 workstations. Additionally ISL Recruitment will be taking 16 workstations in a move from the company’s current premises on Orchard Street.

Regional sales manager for Orega, Amanda Blakemore, commented: “Since December, we have seen a fantastic uplift in signings at Ten Victoria Street, resulting in ten new clients and almost full occupancy. Despite the competitive market in Bristol, we have been able to offer a very attractive working environment in a highly visible and central location. This, coupled with the flexibility we can provide to both growing and established businesses, has given us the edge in attracting many different types of company.”

A number of smaller deals have also taken place with the Bristol serviced offices welcoming two new start-up companies into the fold. Shaw & Co LLP, which deals with corporate finance and Bristol Film & Media, which produces video production for websites, promotional marketing and training, have both chosen to move in with Orega to launch their new businesses.
