Leading Sheffield commercial property consultancy Knight Frank has been appointed joint letting agents for one of the city’s most prestigious office developments.

Crown House, which is part of the first phase of regeneration in the West Bar area, stands on the northern fringe of the city centre opposite Sheffield Crown Court. The six-storey office building, with a flexible open plan design, cost ÂŁ8m to complete and is suitable for a wide range of potential occupiers.

Tim Bottrill, a partner at Knight Frank, said: “As well as being an extremely impressive building, it is perfectly tailored to the needs of the modern business occupier. The development succeeds in providing an adaptable working space suitable for most tenants.”

The building has a fully glazed reception area, two passenger lifts and floor to ceiling glazed elevations on ground and mezzanine level. It can accommodate occupiers from 3,000 square feet upwards and has a total space of 50,150 square feet.

Its position, close to the popular Leopold Square development and within easy reach of rail, tram, bus and motorway links, gives it an extra advantage in an area which has become Sheffield’s professional and legal quarter.

The area is already home to several key government and legal operations, including Irwin Mitchell Solicitors and the Home Office. It has been described by local property experts as a “truly modern classic” and a “magnificently located development.”
