APM to Market Ten New Properties Following Pilot Success

Mckay Securities Plc has appointed APM Property consultants to market ten properties across London and the South East.

Mckay recently gave the marketing of a 50,000 sq ft building in London City to APM as a kind of “pilot“ appointment which proved successful. The new properties, totalling approximately 100, 000 sq ft, will now be marketed by APM alongside existing agent relationships.

APM is the commercial property arm of Avanta. The company was set up to offer alternative accommodation for clients searching via the Avanta website who were looking for non-serviced office space. Avanta generates over 400 sales leads each week and APM are able to target the enquiries which would be better suited to the opportunities available through non-serviced properties, like those offered within the McKay’s portfolio.

Up until now Mckay has relied on traditional marketing strategies to promote its properties, however the success of the online marketing employed by APM has proven that property interest on the internet cannot be ignored.

Managing Director of McKay, Simon Perkins, said that the company was “keen to gain exposure to and benefit from“ internet enquiries. He said: “From our pilot project in the City, we learnt that we can exploit the potential for online property marketing through partnering with a specialist agency that has the capacity to generate enquiries from those occupiers whose first port of call is internet search rather than more traditional routes.“

APM will be working in partnership with McKay, allowing them to increase the reach of their property portfolio advertisements through a combination of old and new online marketing strategy.
