Serviced Office Company United Business Centres plc (UBC) has gone from strength to strength this year.  Defying the economic downturn the office space provider has expanded by almost unprecedented proportions, growing from 5 to 23 business centres across the UK in the first 6 months of 2008 alone with new properties in areas such as Bracknell, Oldham, Wakefield, Newark, Cirencester, Stafford, Fleet and Coventry.

Now UBC has announced a change in their management structure as the company will be working on developing its place in the market following the mass expansion in 2008 and looking towards expansion plans for 2009.  UBC management will now be on a co-operative basis, overseen by its board of directors made up of Tim Jackson-Waite, Operations Director, Finance Director Christian Osborne and Sales Director Ken Oakes.

Ken Oakes has reportedly commented on the new management structure: “The culture at UBC has always been one of working together as a unit; some even call it ‘the UBC family’…..One of our primary goals will be to enhance our clients’ experience with UBC and we are already evaluating a number of new initiatives to achieve this.  We look forward to developing these further in 2009.”
