For the second year running, employees from Hammersmith-based Avanta Managed Offices will be putting their best foot forward to take part in a 5.6Km race to help raise funds for the UK’s leading children’s medical research charity, Sparks, as part of the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge 2010.

Leading the 15-strong Avanta team, at the beginning of July, will be managing director, David Alberto, who comments, “We are really enthusiastic about supporting this event as it’s such a worthwhile cause. With team members from around our UK network of 18 centres taking part, we are hoping to raise more than ÂŁ1,000 for Sparks.

“We are committed to supporting Sparks and have already raised more than £7,000 this year via our Rugby Legends dinner and charity quiz night events. In addition, we are supporting the Sparks Summer Race Night to be held at Epsom racecourse on Thursday 01 July.

Sparks Communications director, Paul Connew, said: “David Alberto and the whole team at Avanta continue to amaze and delight us with the depth and diversity of their support for Sparks.

“They symbolise the incredible value to a charity like Sparks that comes from a dedicated and dynamic corporate supporter and its energetic and enthusiastic staff.

“Avanta is helping doctors and researchers funded by Sparks to make the breakthroughs that save and improve so many precious young lives.”
