Avanta will be managing 11,258 sq ft at a new Cavendish Square location after revealing plans to open its 16th business centre in the Capital. The operator reported record occupancy levels last year and has said that the expansion is in response to an ongoing surge in demand for flexible office space in central London.

The new offices will be housed within a magnificent, grade II listed building located at 4 Cavendish Square, W1. The property underwent an extensive ÂŁ4m refurbishment three years ago and work is currently underway to bring the offices up to the Avanta standard with the installation of a high capacity IT system. Under a management contract with Barwa Capital (UK) Ltd, Avanta will be offering 130 workstations complimented by a tiered auditorium suitable for up to 32 delegates.

Chief Executive at Avanta, Alan Pepper, commented: “This is part of our niche plan for developing and generating income streams for landlords and property owners and follows a similar arrangement at 26 Dover Street. As a London focussed flexible workspace provider we’ve witnessed high levels of enquiries during the past 12 months and this buoyant market is helping to fuel our expansion plans in the capital.”

Barwa Capital’s Aamir Khan said: “We looked at a number of possible operators, but chose Avanta for their expertise, straightforward approach and excellent response time.  After leaving a message, Avanta’s founder, David Alberto, called back almost immediately. This is a testament to their focus on the client with integrated communication flowing through the organisation”

The new Cavendish Square offices are due to launch this month.
