Flexible office operator Avanta Managed Offices Limited has a new Chief Executive with former Managing Director David Alberto now replaced by Alan Pepper.

Alan takes over the management reigns at a prosperous time for Avanta. The operator is currently enjoying levels of 88% occupancy across its serviced office centres with revenues continuing to increase month on month.

Avanta bought back its shares from Kenmore during the summer and Alan, who has been the Finance and Commercial Director at Avanta since the beginning of 2007, declared that the management team are now “masters of our own destiny”, being in full ownership of the company.

Alan has said that he now wishes to push the focus of the company towards reinforcing its position in the serviced office marketplace in general, and specifically in the Capital, as well as further improving the operator’s reputation for customer service excellence.

Avanta’s former MD David Alberto will maintain his position on the board as a principal shareholder in the company. David commented that Alan is “naturally placed” to lead Avanta’s continued business development having been a key figure in its development up until now. He added: “with an increasing number of other commitments I felt that this was the right time for Alan to take charge of the day to day running of  Avanta.”
