High Speed Broadband Deciding Factor For Attracting Serviced Office Clients

Philip Grace, CEO at serviced office operator i2, has said that high speed broadband is key to attracting, and retaining, new office space clients.

Modern businesses are looking to make the most of the technology available to them and i2 Office has seen an increase in the demand for the use of video conferencing, cloud computing and stream media at its business centres. The flexible office operator is finding that the superfast, bandwidth broadband, which it offers at all of its serviced offices in London and across the country, is proving to be a huge asset in attracting new clients.

i2 Office is now enjoying an 85% occupancy level at its new Glasgow serviced office centre, which opened on West Regent Street in January.  One new client, SmartestEnergy, the UK’s leading purchaser and supplier of energy from the independent generation sector, was impressed by the fact that i2 Office offers 45MB bandwidth at its Glasgow business centre. SmartestEnergy Business Development Manager for Scotland, Iain Robertson, said that the superfast broadband was a deciding factor in the company’s choice to move in with i2 Office, commenting: “With our head office and IT services based in London,  and the need to share and work on large files, it was also imperative that we had a robust IT offering.”
