• Clients at Avanta's serviced offices in Hammersmith will be getting their feet wet next month at an RYA Day Skipper Theory Course, coming soon to the centre. • i2 Office has been given an award for being the fastest growing serviced office operator by leading managed IT and communications services firm Essensys. Launched in Milton Keynes in 2009 the technology-savvy operator has enjoyed a fast expansion into major cities Leeds and Glasgow and has also opened three business centres in central London. After receiving recognition at a recent Essensys day event i2 Office CEO, Philip Grace, commented that the team are “delighted” to receive the award, adding: “The fact that they (Essensys) have selected i2 Office for this award confirms to the industry that we are growing from strength to strength.” #

• Commercial property agent Knight Frank has revealed that figures from its Regional Office Market Presentation suggest that 2011 office take up figures in Sheffield City Centre could beat those reported in 2010. The first half of this year showed a 77% increase on last year’s figures with a total of 154,340 sq ft of office space let. #
