Avanta Managed Offices is ending the year on a high after announcing record-breaking occupancy figures across all of its 18 business centres.
The flexible office space operator is currently celebrating an average occupancy level of 90% across the board. The average year end figures are the highest that the company has ever achieved and are particularly impressive considering the tough economic climate faced by the market during 2011.
Avanta’s Sales and Marketing Director, Geraint Evans, has attributed the record-breaking figures to the efforts of the company’s sales team, which saw staff numbers increase during 2011, as well as a high level of customer service that is maintained by staff on a daily basis. He commented: “We really are delighted with these results and it’s exciting to be fast approaching 2012 in such a strong position, particularly with all the fantastic opportunities that the 2012 Olympics will bring to businesses across London next year.”
Geraint also suggested that the tough economic climate has meant that businesses are increasingly choosing flexible workspace, allowing companies to “right size” their office space to best fit current demands, as well as allowing room for expansion or reduction of space in uncertain times.
Avanta has also enjoyed a successful year of meeting room sales with revenues across the portfolio having increased by over 20% in 2011. During November, Avanta’s meeting room section achieved its highest-ever revenues for meeting room usage.
