Flexible office operator i2 Office is continuing to expand with new serviced offices set to open in Manchester. This will be the first business centre launch for the operator in the North West of the country.
The new offices are located in central Manchester’s traditional business quarter at Chancery Place, close to King Street. The modern, grade A building was only recently completed. 14 storey’s high, It was designed by award-winning architects HKR as a handsome addition to the Upper King Street Conservation Area.
i2 Office has agreed 15,000sq ft at Chancery Place over two floors. With fit out already underway, the centre should be ready for occupancy in early 2012.
CEO, Philip Grace, commented that the new centre is “perfectly“ located in the heart of Manchester’s business centre. He said: “i2 Office has already expanded its network North and South, from Glasgow to Greenwich, and we are delighted to be adding Manchester to our growing number of centres. We look forward to welcoming our first clients in 2012.“
During October i2 Office was recognised as the fastest growing serviced office operator by leading managed IT and communications services firm Essensys. Launched in Milton Keynes in 2009 the technology-savvy company has enjoyed a fast expansion into major UK cities and central London. Most recently the operator announced in September that it would be opening two new centres in London City and Greenwich Peninsula.
